Nikon Announces Nikon D5500 DSLR with Tiltable touchscreen

The compact touchscreen Nikon D5500 has been unveiled at CES

The Nikon D5500 is the successor to the D5300, launched back in 2013. It is smaller, lighter and this time has a touch-screen.


The new DSLR has a 24.2MP DX-format image sensor and an ISO range of 100-125,600.

Nikon said: “Combined with the power of a compatible NIKKOR lens, you get images that explode with clarity. Even when printed large or shown on a big screen, your photos and movies will be crystal-clear reflections of the way you see the world.”
